A Year in Review, with more ways than ever before to sell goods online, eCommerce is a make-or-break concern for many businesses. According to the US Department of Commerce, the percentage of sales that occur online has risen from less than 4 percent to more than 9 percent over the past 10 years. That number is only poised to go up. Given that eCommerce will continue to increase in importance, it’s crucial that you have software that can merge eCommerce and accounting seamlessly. AccountingSuite is here to help.
2015 has been an exciting year here at AccountingSuite!
We kicked off the year with an enhanced integration with Dwolla. This ultimately lead to the elimination of sales transaction fees for our customers. We got certified for Avalara’s Sales Tax Automation Solution, and AvaTax is now available for AccountingSuite customers. We had a rocking time exhibiting at the 15th annual National Association of Music Merchants (NAMM) show in Anaheim.
Soon afterward, Paul joined as our new Sales Manager and then Sonya as our QA Manager. We were invited to speak at the Inaugural WedTech Summit in San Francisco, which was a blast! Being able to share with the wedding industry professionals how they can run their business better with solutions for simplifying and success was a great honor.
We then spent time working with our Bookkeeping and Accounting Partners. With a clear understanding of their needs and pain points, we launched our Bookkeeping and Accountant Editions. Our professional editions not only allow Bookkeepers and Accountants to expand their client market to service product based clients, it also allows them to elevate their firm’s value.
We capped off the year with receiving one of the best birthday presents ever. Thanks to everyone’s votes, AccountingSuite won Sleeter’s 2016 Awesome Savvy Startup Award. Talk about ending the year with a bang!
We thank you for joining us on this whirlwind ride. You guys make this all worthwhile. We have lots in store for you in 2016, so stay tune!
